BoilerPlateClau ("we", "us", "our") is a digital product that provides a set of markdown configuration files for use with Claude Code. We take privacy seriously and only collect what we need to operate.

This policy applies to all users of BoilerPlateClau.com and any related services. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

2Data We Collect

We collect a minimal amount of personal data, limited to what is strictly necessary:

Provided at registration. Used to identify your account and send transactional emails (receipts, download links).

Payment Data
Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank details.

Technical Logs
Basic server logs (IP, browser, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
🔒 We do not collect usage analytics, track your Claude Code sessions, sell data to third parties, or use advertising trackers of any kind.

3How We Use It

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • —Create and manage your account
  • —Process your one-time payment via Stripe
  • —Deliver the BoilerPlateClau download
  • —Send essential transactional emails (receipt, download link)
  • —Respond to support requests you initiate

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

4Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers within the EU. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and access controls. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

We retain account data for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

5Third Parties

We only share data with trusted processors required to operate the service:

Stripe Stripe — payment processing. Your card data goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. See stripe.com/privacy.
⬡ Our hosting provider — EU-based VPS. Processes access logs only. No data sold or shared.

6Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • —Request correction of inaccurate data
  • —Request deletion of your account and data
  • —Object to processing or request restriction
  • —Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function:

  • —CSRF token — protects form submissions
  • —theme — stores your dark/light preference (localStorage)

No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking cookies.

8Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify registered users by email.

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
